Mr. Waxman is the Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chief Investment Officer, and Co-Founding Partner of Sixth Street, a multi-strategy private capital investment firm with over $130 billion in assets under management and committed capital. Founded in 2009, Sixth Street is focused on identifying the best relative risk-reward across asset classes, industries, and geographies through teamwork, discipline, and agility.

Prior to Sixth Street, Mr. Waxman was a partner at Goldman Sachs and chief investment officer of its largest proprietary investing group. Previously at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Waxman founded and led investing franchises in growth capital, direct lending, and alternative energy infrastructure, among others, as well as in public markets multi-strategy investing. He began his career at Goldman Sachs as an analyst.

Mr. Waxman serves as Co-Chair of Bay FC, the first National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team in the Bay Area. He also serves on the NWSL’s Board of Governors. He received a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
